Potenziare le risorse individuali nella transizione formazione - lavoro: gli esiti di uno studio longitudinale su un percorso di formazione all'imprenditorialità
Main Article Content
Abstract
Globalisation, the developments in the use of technology and, finally, the recent health emergencies are creating scenarios that lead and will lead to major impacts on the labour market in general and on the professional practices in particular. Training and job placement activities are forced to a continuous update to face with this increasingly changing scenario. Coping with these transformative processes a few topics, which have been strongly investigated by Academia and sustained by policy making seem to be crucial: the notion of key competences - from Life skills and supported up to the elaboration of the European Framework of Entrepreneurial Skills “EntreComp”. The latter, more in detail, includes important competences to support young people in the training-work transition, focusing on personal initiative, self-determination skills and resources. The goal of this study consists in the investigation, through a longitudinal research design, on the outcomes of a training path aimed at bringing university students closer to the job market. In particular, the relationship between the construct of “entrepreneurial mindset”, motivation and two key competences in this kind of transition: self-determination and perseverance, have been examined. The results support the need to promote guidance and training pathways to sustain young people in recognising and enhancing their potential career paths, thus fostering social mobility, especially where families and social networks cannot provide advice and support.
Key words: transversal competences, growth mindset, self-determination, perseverance, guidance, entrepreneurship
