Abstract

The essay tries to investigate the profile of the “good teacher” in the Higher Education Program for
the educators and trainers’ professional family. Starting from the main acquisitions of
contextualism, and thanks the situated and narrative thought theories, in connection to some recent
papers about "knowledge of the subject", developed in trainers professions, identifies a ‘qualitative
profile’ of the of the university teacher competences. In particular, it tries to focus on a “researcher”
teacher profile not only ad extra (towards study objects, subsequently mediated and applied in the
educational and didactic relationship), but ad intra, transforming the education and didactic ‘doing'’
in an ‘action’.
