Educational innovation and university cooperation in Latin America. An example of digital inclusion as a tool of socio-educational transformation.

Abstract

Educational innovation and academic coopera-tion are joined in this work, with the analyzes of the creation of environments for teaching and learning alternatives aimed to adolescents and young people suffering exclusion and school failure. Also for teachers who do the training and the innovation. These reflections are related to an Academic Cooperation Project of the University of Sala-manca with educational institutions of Uru-guay. The purpose of these institutions is to promote the integration of new technologies in the classroom. The experience of cooperation benefits more than four thousand young peo-ple and teenagers and also made a relevant contribution to digital inclusion and increased the educational participation of vulnerable and disadvantage groups.
