The educational role of the territory for sustainability and well-being

Abstract
With this work we would like to put into relation individual needs and territory’s development answers (policies) to let local communities bringing standing learning into operation. By this way we will underline the close connection between people and the context they live in, between individual and collective needs. We firmly think that with an interdisciplinary ap-proach the local dimension will overcome its own limits recognizing the unity of the reality. In particular we shall try to understand what kind of educational system deriving from a ter-ritorial development approach should be the best one for a real sustainable school.
