Abstract

Educational and vocational guidance has been a well-recognized strategy and, in Italy, it's gaining renewed momentum through initiatives like "Investment 1.6. Active Educational Guidance in School-University Transition" (Ministerial Decree 934 of 03/08/2022) and the approval of the recent Orientation Guidelines (22/12/2022, no. 328). This paper aims to illustrate the different types of education to choice making pathways designed and implemented by the University of XXX for students of the last three years of high school, with a sample of more than 4,000 students. The impact measures allow the identification of the differential effectiveness of the pathways, which differ from one another in the extent of teacher involvement, in the expression means used and in the fruition modality. The characteristics of the sub-samples (age, gender, type of school attended) will also be taken into account.
