Multiple research works highlight the advantages related to the use of new technologies in education, which can contribute to the creation of better conditions for learning, interest, motivation and self-efficacy.
Furthermore, the new technologies are particularly useful in the design of inclusive journeys: the use of digital devices at school can support teaching strategies based on cooperative learning aimed at developing fundamental social and relationship skills.
Finally, technological innovations are indispensable for students with disabilities as they are useful in overcoming barriers that limit their full inclusion.
In this work we intend to analyze assistive technologies and, in general, new technologies for the purpose of school inclusion, starting from the premise that it is essential to guarantee disabled students the development of their potential to achieve full educational success.
