Abstract

The article analyzes multicultural perspective in the thinking of Brazilian educator Paulo Frei-re (1921-1997), especially towards the end of its production. The analysis shows that the problem of multicultural coexistence, in frei-rean thought, can not be separated from is-sues of racism and social exclusion of ethnic minorities.
