Abstract

The contribution aims to present some of the results of a research within the National Forum of Third Sector on the validation of strategic skills. The activities carried out concern the reconstruction, on a predominantly qualitative analysis basis, of the overall framework of strategic competences and the definition of recognition and validation procedures. The results confirm that non-formal and informal learning contexts are significant for building up of skills and that the guidance phase in the validation procedure is a crucial issue. The arrangement of specific organizational services is related with the quality of the procedure. Strategic competences are crucial resources for activities linked to different professional profiles and in a perspective of lifelong learning.
