Reception of Ukrainian minors and families in schools and educational services a challenge for education

Abstract
The war in Ukraine has brought over 13 million displaced people to Europe, mainly women and children (UNHCR, 2022). This is an unprecedented situation both for the extent of refugees and for the type of needs expressed and for the progressive transformation of the same, based on the changing socio-political situation and its representation. The prolongation of the conflict requires that schools and socio-educational services are ready to activate adequate reception and support interventions. Research data is necessary for this purpose, which allows us to grasp the real needs. This contribution aims to provide food for thought starting from the results emerging from a study activated in the summer of 2022 within stays for Ukrainian mothers and children (conducted by the DOC cooperative and promoted by the Eni foundation) by a research group multidisciplinary of the Departments of Psychology and Philosophy and Educational Sciences of the University of XXX
