In the contemporary liquid society in which we currently live in, orientation is crucial element in a strategic approach to lifelong learning and in every spatial dimension of life. No longer restricted to educational and professional choices, orientation is designed as a training device, aimed at developing abilities and competences useful to position individuals within uncertain and unpredictable life situations and to help them in not getting lost. through political, social and educational interventions, together with the joint action of the various figures in charge, person in developing their personal and professional identity, in acting effectively on the environment in order to change the situations they live in, to profitably reassess skills and personal resources, with objective to overcome directive modes of orientation and to develop emancipative and self-regulative forms of intervention.
