Abstract

This contribution aims to foster an open and dynamic reflection on the future by blending the artistic approach of literature with an educational and methodological perspective aligned with Futures Studies. The bridge between these two realms lies in recognizing the necessity to transcend the self-referential present in order to attribute new value to time, encompassing possible futures. In the section pertaining to literature, the suggestion is to transform reading into a transformative experience, while in the subsequent paragraph, the narrow conception of the present is problematized to render it a time of action and projectivity, facilitating a renewed autonomy of the subject within individual and collective change.
