Abstract

The contribution proposes reflections on the implementation of the research-training project, R-F, (Asquini, 2018) entitled System figures as crucial mediators of inclusive processes at school. The project examines inclusive policies, one of the three dimensions of the Social Model (Booth & Ainscow, 2014), also analyzed from the perspective of teacher agency (Calvert, 2016). The elements characterizing these approaches, which constitute the theoretical framework of reference, are closely interrelated with those of research-training. The R-F, which substantiates the research project in question, is aimed at enhancing the figures of the system in order to make them agents in the promotion of agency, inclusive and shared skills. Specifically, it explores the role of system figures as agents-vectors in the context of self-analysis, self-assessment and self-improvement processes and of the tools introduced by these processes.
