Main Article Content
Abstract
The theme of integration between the school and the world of work has entered today fully in the European debate as a primary factor for economic development and social inclusion. Curricular traineeships, traineeships which form optional or compulsory part of academic and/or vocational curricula whose purpose is to improve the learning process and training with a method of ‘alternation’, has become a reality also in Italy. Experiences of work related lear-ning are carried out at both national and trans-national level. The main objective of this paper is to show some of the main findings of a transnational project of school-work, co-funded by the European Commission under the Li-felong Learning Programme, which involved 10 schools and 200 students in the Basilicata re-gion.
