Abstract
This paper analyses the role Italian Universities can play in favour of voluntary guardians of unaccompanied children under Law n. 47/2017. Specifically, we try to standardize the experience of Piedmont Region and we emphasize that public engagement, and in general the so-called Universities' Third Mission, has positive outcomes in terms of teaching and research and staff wellbeing.
