Abstract

Theory and practice are elements that in the history of educational thought have had a strong mutual influence. The axiological and methodological dimensions are linked both in daily practice and in epistemological reflection.

The work investigates the relationships and mutual influences that these aspects exert on educational thought and action, with particular attention to the dimension of didactics, understood as “artificum”, as the art of teaching, following Comenius' traditional interpretation. The aim is to draw operational indications for a correct exercise of professional action, from the point of view of action and reflection.
